The Segambut 2 Komuter Station is an infill commuter train station that will serve the suburbs of Segambut and Jinjang Selatan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[1][2] It will be served by the Port Klang Line of the KTM Komuter service that forms part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The station will include facilities such as park and ride, disabled-friendly utilities, ticket kiosks, restrooms, elevators and taxi stands.
Background
In August 2023, Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) and IDP Industrial Development Sdn Bhd had signed an agreement with UOA Development Berhad to develop a new railway station along the KTM line, while the former will undertake the construction of it to further integrate with its existing development.[3] The signing ceremony was witnessed by Transport Minister Anthony Loke and Segambut's MP Hannah Yeoh.[4][5] Previously, the land was first earmarked in 2016 to be constructed as a KTM station along with the development of UOA's United Point Residence.[6]
The station is expected to be operational by November 2025. Once completed, it will serve the surrounding neighborhoods of Taman Cuepacs, Taman Sri Segambut, Taman Segambut Aman as well as Taman Sri Sinar and will be directly connected to United Point via an overhead bridge.[7]
