Naughty Marietta (film)

Naughty Marietta, Victor Herbert'in aynı adlı 1910 tarihli operetinden uyarlanan 1935 Amerika yapımı müzikal romantik filmidir . Jeanette MacDonald, görücü usulüyle yapılan bir evlilikten kaçan bir prensesi canlandırıyor. Prenses, New Orleans'a yelken açar ve Kaptan Richard Warrington (Nelson Eddy) tarafından korsanlardan kurtarılır.

Film Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, John Lee Mahin ve Rida Johnson Young tarafından yazılmıştır.

Film, En İyi Film Akademi Ödülü'ne aday gösterildi. Douglas Shearer, filmdeki çalışmasıyla En İyi Ses Kaydı Akademi Ödülü'nü kazandı.^[1] 2003 yılında, film, Kongre Kütüphanesi tarafından "kültürel, tarihi veya estetik açıdan önemli" olarak Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Ulusal Film Arşivi'nde korunmak üzere seçildi.

Film toplamda (yerli ve yabancı) 2.057.000 ABD Doları hasılat elde etti. ABD ve Kanada'da 1.058.000 ABD doları ve başka yerlerde 999.000 ABD doları hasılata ulaştı. 407.000 dolar kâr etti.
