Zoltan Istvan (2017)

Zoltan Istvan Gyurko[1], znany głównie jako Zoltan Istvan (ur. 1973) – amerykański dziennikarz[2], przedsiębiorca[3][4] i transhumanista. Jako dziennikarz i publicysta pisze artykuły o tematyce transhumanizmu: "The Transhumanist Philosopher", który jest blogiem na Psychology Today[5] i "Transhumanist Future" dla magazynu Vice. Pracował również jako reporter National Geographic[6] i jako bloger-futurolog oraz transhumanista pisze dla "The Huffington Post"[7].

Jest autorem powieści science fiction "The Transhumanist Wager". [8][9]

Pod koniec 2014 roku, Zoltan Istvan ogłosił zamiar startowania w wyborach prezydenckich w USA w celu rozpowszechnienia idei transhumanizmu[10]. Jego kampania została przedstawiona w mediach głównego nurtu jako platforma naukowo-techniczna[11][12][13][14]. Początek kariery

Zoltan Istvan zaczynał swoją karierę jako dziennikarz National Geographic[17][18]. Jego teksty zostały opublikowane na blogach San Francisco Chronicle[19], , Outside[20], i The Daily Caller[21]. Jego prace zostały omówione również przez "The Huffington post"[22].
