Fylkets totale areal er 1 480,51 km² hvorav 14,99 km² vann. Ved folkeavstemningen i 2010 hadde fylket 3 152[1] innbyggere. Fylkesete er Loup City[1] som også er den største byen i fylket.
Historie
Sherman County ble grunnlagt i 1871[1]. Fylket er oppkalt etter general William Tecumseh Sherman.
