Carol J. Adams (kelahiran 1951) adalah seorang penulis, feminis dan advokat hak hewan Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah penulis beberapa buku, yang meliputi The Sexual Politics of Meat: A Feminist-Vegetarian Critical Theory (1990) dan The Pornography of Meat (2004), yang berfokus pada apa yang yang ia anggap hubungan antara penindasan wanita dan hewan non-manusia.[1] Ia masuk dalam Animal Rights Hall of Fame pada 2011.[2]

Adams's new book, The Pornography of Meat, collects some of the material in support of her ideas that she has been sent by admirers of her work. Adams" did not exist, and that The Sexual Politics of Meat was a deliberately provocative piece of satirical sophism written by a male academic.
