Live Bait for the Dead (COF006DD) on Cradle of Filthin yhdeksäs julkaisu, ja toinen julkaisu omalla levymerkillä Abracadaver. Levyn sisällöstä puolet on live-esiintymisestä Rock Cityssä, Nottinghamissa vuonna 2001, ja puolet lähinnä vanhojen kappaleiden uusia versioita. Levyn kappaleet ovat kokonaisuudessaan yhtyeen omaa käsialaa. Kappaleet sävellettiin yhtyeen yhteistyönä, ja sanoituksista vastasi laulaja Dani Filth. Poikkeuksena kappaleet "No Time To Cry", joka on alun perin The Sisters of Mercyn julkaisema kappale, ja "The Fire Still Burns", joka on alun perin Twisted Sisterin julkaisema kappale.

Levy on nauhoitettu vuonna 2001 ja julkaistu seuraavana vuonna 2002.
