Matiullah Turab (Pashto: مطیع اللہ تراب; born 21 March 1971[1]) is an Afghan poet born in Afghanistan.[1] His poetry has been popular Among Pashtoons from Afghanistan and Pakistan.[1]

He grew up in Nangarhar Province[1] and works as a car body maker.[2][3] he flew from the russian war like many other families to paksitan and lived in khyber pakhunkhwa, kurram agency for a while and then returned back to his home country Afghanistan in 2000s.
