Doomsday Pt. 2

"Doomsday Pt. 2" is a song by American music production music video company Lyrical Lemonade and American rapper Eminem, included on Lyrical Lemonade's debut album All Is Yellow. It was released on January 26, 2024, with a music video premiering on YouTube on March 13. The video features cameos from Big Sean, BabyTron, Teezo Touchdown, Denzel Curry, JID, Cordae & Swae Lee among others.^[1]

The song features disses aimed at Benzino, who has had a long-time beef with Eminem, with lines like "I have a riddle, one condition you mustn't laugh. What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe".^[2] The disses are a response to Benzino's track "Rap Elvis".

Background

The song is over a slightly altered version of the beat of Role Model, from The Slim Shady LP (1999). It starts off with an intro of Eminem clearing his throat and then going to the verse, with lines like "'Til I need a walker like Herschel, I'm better / than all you little twerps put together" and "I'm not tryna be controversial, I'd rather / Talk about something with the purpose that matters / Like who had the second best verse on 'Forever'". Eminem also mentions Benzino's daughter, Coi Leray.^[3]

Music video

The music video was shot by Cole Bennett and premiered on March 13 on the Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel. It starts off with Eminem coming out of a yellow curtain in a black suit and a yellow tie. It features Eminem going through a hallway and is a sequel to the "Doomsday" music video. There are shots that cut to the cameos listed at the top. The music video has since received over ten million views.^[4][5]
