Kyphosus sydneyanus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels kifòsids.[2]

Alimentació
Hàbitat
És un peix marí i d'aigua salabrosa, demersal i de clima temperat.[3]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba al Pacífic sud-occidental: Austràlia (incloent-hi l'illa de Lord Howe i Norfolk) i Nova Zelanda.[3][9][10][11][12][13][6][14]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
