Hàbitat
És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 0-12 m de fondària.[3][5]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Nova Zelanda.[3][6][7][8]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
